BioMy journal is thoughts and ideas which interest me at any given point in time.
I am live in the UK but am of European descent.I consider myself more European than British. (Complicated by I was born in New Zealand and holiday in Denmark.)
I like TV show Supernatural on CW Thursday night (USA) and ITV2 (UK). Started as liking good looking guys but evolved because
1. Show is actually really interesting and fun.
2. Car sounds fantastic. 1967 Chevy Impala (the metallicar)
3. Music is brilliant. Rock and soft heavy metal classics.
4. Unbelievably the pretty boys can really act. Particularly Jensen Ackles who stretches believably to heavy emotional stuff.
Crazy about motor racing particularly F1, DTM and Le Mans series. Been to Le Mans 24 hours race several times.
In Rugby Union, support the All Blacks to disgust of my English husband. (So fab they almost always win.)
Love everything Danish. Coolest design of every day items in the world. If you get to Denmark check out Louisana outside Copenhagen and Art Centre in Aarhus. Just brilliant.
I like art but no patience for works of art that I can do; like rumpled beds and canvas with paint splodges. Why spend all that money for something 2 year old can do effortlessly.
Have a genetics degree and from that developed interest in royalty. (Breeding blood lines is the link). Follow events in Danish, Dutch, Swedish and Norweign royal houses and have a passing interested in mediazed houses of Germany, Poland (Prussia) etc. Obviously one can't ignore antics of the British and Monaco houses but the lack of duty before self of the younger Brits annoys at times.
Have worked in software testing and am very opinioned on subject of quality products. Most things blamed on computers is poor test management and software design. Computer is usually just doing exactly what it was told to do by trained monkeys. Put software in front of me and yep, I'll bust it. It is an innate gift.
Deeply religious, but in an enlightened way. Firmly believe in respecting our differences and celebrating our similarities.
Tend to like hunky (pretty) men that Gays put in their top 100 rather than the oddities found in mags such as People.
PS I'm a novice with LJ. The banner is by Biffyhouse and the CSS layout by Newkidfan. I'm improving all the time as I'm familiar with html but need a refresher course or loads of stuff to plagerise from :)
